Art is a proud member of the Detroit Groove Kings (of which Art is the Bass guitarist) Come and join us for a fun night out!!! The Detroit Groove Kings playing an outdoor auto show..... Art purchased this when he was just 16, and he has kept it in tip top shape ever since. It's his 1946 Willys Jeep. She doesnt have a hemi under the hood, but she has the original 134cid flat head. This old jeep wont break any speed records, but its not often you will find a '46 in this good of shape. She has taken home several awards, and only gets driven on those really nice days. Click to enlarge Like Father, like Son!  Jesse has proven to be a seasoned drummer as of age 12!  He loves music and has been a "head-banger" from 6 months of age!  Jess is an avid premier soccer play, although a knee injury put him on the sidelines for a while. He got right back in there, and is now on the Lakeland Junior Varsity team ( as a freshman, no less ) This picture (crutches and all) was taken at his 6th grade honors event.  Don't know how he pulls off the 3.95+ grade point average, but he enjoys school and is looking forward to graduation! It takes alot of family support to make a small business run.  We'd like to thank a very special person in our lives, Libby Krouse, for her strength, wisdom and unconditional love.  She has supported Art and his interests from the beginning and continues to support us, both personally and professionally.  Lib -- what a great lady to have on our side! Jan and bestest friends! My wife, Jan (second smiley face from the right) gets lots of support from her best buddies.  Deb, Karen and Barb from Ohio!  They're not only Groove Kings groupies and make lots of trips to see gigs up north, but they've been terribly supportive of Jan. Art's Audio started 2004 with a new dog -- "Jazz".  She's a shepard and retriever mix and a real sweetie!  Thank God she loves the blues...... Comming on board in March of '06, and now a full partner in the business, Marc has an extensive background in solid state electronics, computers, and has picked up tube theory. Marc brings with him the ability for Art's Audio to service PA amplifiers among other things. Although Marc does not play an instrument professionally, Marc is a Live Sound engineer on the weekends, and has worked shows such as; The Beach Boys @ Andiamo's, the Birmingham Jazz Festival, George Jones @ Crystal Gardens, Sinbad @ Andiamo's, Eddie Money @ Southfield, the Southfield Jazz Festival.
